Agree on what is arriving

Before arranging a real delivery, I’d want us to agree on exactly what should arrive. Document the vehicle, promised condition and equipment, then ask about the charge, schedule, inspection and what happens if something does not match. Our generated illustration cannot promise what a real car will look like.

OffLot currently offers no real delivery service; this is preparation for the questions to ask.

Build an original handoff checklist

Plan enough light and time to walk around the vehicle, compare its identifier with the paperwork and check visible condition. Inventory keys, manuals and any agreed accessories. Test basic controls and ask how unresolved items will be recorded.

Photographing a concern can help you describe it, but do not assume a photograph alone changes the contract or creates a return right.

Inspection still matters

A delivery walkaround is not a comprehensive mechanical inspection. For a used vehicle, arrange an appropriate independent inspection as part of the purchase decision, including when a seller describes the car as certified. A model-level safety score and an attractive exterior do not establish mechanical condition, completed recalls or remaining warranty.

Read the actual remedy

Ask what deadline, mileage limit, exclusions, charges or process applies to any written return policy. Do not assume there is a universal cooling-off period for every vehicle purchase. Keep any condition exceptions or promised repairs documented before accepting terms.

The preview’s delivery choices and confirmation are only a demonstration; selecting them does not book a truck, reserve a car or establish a real right to return one.
