CAR-BUYING QUESTIONS

What features are worth paying extra for?

Features that improve safety or daily comfort usually pay off most: advanced driver-assistance systems, good headlights, heated seats in cold climates, smartphone integration and a comfortable driver's seat. Large wheels, premium audio and panoramic roofs are nice but add cost and sometimes extra repair expense. Make a must-have list before shopping so you don't pay for a higher trim just for one feature.
