CAR-BUYING QUESTIONS
What should I check when a car is delivered to my home?
Before signing anything, match the VIN on the car to your paperwork, walk around for scratches, dents and wheel damage, and check tire condition. Make sure all keys and fobs, the owner's manual and any promised accessories are there. Start it, check for warning lights, verify the mileage and take a short drive. Review the final contract numbers against what you agreed to. Note any problems in writing before the driver leaves. OffLot's Open lot mode checklist works well here too.
