The towing stability is the standout. My only gripe is the fuel bill when towing, which I knew going in.

2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 review
Chevrolet Silverado 1500: capability first, comfort close behind. Illustrative review
7.8/10 OffLot expert score
The 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is a strong contender in its class. Standard driver-assist suite; bed and tailgate features are useful every day. Fuel economy drops sharply when towing and tall step-in height, so test the trim you'd actually buy. Starting around $48,000, it lines up with most direct rivals.

Replaced an older Chevrolet with this one. Big step up in towing stability; I'd like a little more rear-seat room.
Bought it for the weekend hauling and a daily commute and it has handled everything so far. Fuel economy has been close to the sticker in mixed driving.
