2026 Genesis G90 review

Genesis G90: a sensible pick with a few compromises. Illustrative review

8.2/10 OffLot expert score

The 2026 Genesis G90 is a strong contender in its class. Comfortable front seats on long trips; standard driver-assist suite. Base engine feels adequate, not quick and some features locked to upper trims, so test the trim you'd actually buy. Starting around $92,000, it costs more than most direct rivals.

Would buy again

Replaced an older Genesis with this one. Big step up in fuel economy; I'd like a little more rear headroom.

Second one we've owned

The fuel economy is the standout. My only gripe is road noise on the highway, which I knew going in.

Better than the test drive suggested

Bought it for the a long commute and it has handled everything so far. Fuel economy has been close to the sticker in mixed driving.
