Bought it for the school runs and road trips and it has handled everything so far. Fuel economy has been close to the sticker in mixed driving.

2026 Mazda CX-70 review
Mazda CX-70: a sensible pick with a few compromises. Illustrative review
7.4/10 OffLot expert score
The 2026 Mazda CX-70 is a reasonable choice if the price is right. Well-organized infotainment; easy to see out of and park. Third row (where offered) is for kids and engine gets loud under hard acceleration, so test the trim you'd actually buy. Starting around $42,000, it lines up with most direct rivals.

Twelve thousand miles in. Nothing has gone wrong, dealer service has been easy, and the cargo room still impresses passengers.
The cargo room is the standout. My only gripe is the touchscreen climate controls, which I knew going in.
