2026 Mercedes-Benz C-Class review
Mercedes-Benz C-Class: a sensible pick with a few compromises. Illustrative review
7.7/10 OffLot expert score
The 2026 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is a reasonable choice if the price is right. Good trunk for the footprint; comfortable front seats on long trips. Base engine feels adequate, not quick and rear headroom is tight for tall passengers, so test the trim you'd actually buy. Starting around $50,000, it lines up with most direct rivals.

The fuel economy is the standout. My only gripe is road noise on the highway, which I knew going in.
