2026 Nissan Versa review

Nissan Versa: a class leader on the details. Illustrative review

8.8/10 OffLot expert score

The 2026 Nissan Versa sits near the top of its class. Standard driver-assist suite; comfortable front seats on long trips. Rear headroom is tight for tall passengers and some features locked to upper trims, so test the trim you'd actually buy. Starting around $20,000, it undercuts most direct rivals.

Solid, with a few quirks

Bought it for the a long commute and it has handled everything so far. Fuel economy has been close to the sticker in mixed driving.

Good, not perfect

Twelve thousand miles in. Nothing has gone wrong, dealer service has been easy, and the fuel economy still impresses passengers.

Good, not perfect

The fuel economy is the standout. My only gripe is road noise on the highway, which I knew going in.
