2026 Polestar 2 review

Polestar 2: everyday electric done well enough. Illustrative review

8.0/10 OffLot expert score

The 2026 Polestar 2 is a strong contender in its class. Easy infotainment with phone mirroring; standard driver-assist suite. Rear headroom is tight for tall passengers and road noise on coarse pavement, so test the trim you'd actually buy. Starting around $50,000, it lines up with most direct rivals.

Happy after a year

Replaced an older Polestar with this one. Big step up in fuel economy; I'd like a little more rear headroom.

Would buy again

The fuel economy is the standout. My only gripe is road noise on the highway, which I knew going in.

Happy after a year

Bought it for the a long commute and it has handled everything so far. Fuel economy has been close to the sticker in mixed driving.
