The fuel economy is the standout. My only gripe is road noise on the highway, which I knew going in.

2026 Toyota Crown review
Toyota Crown: a sensible pick with a few compromises. Illustrative review
7.7/10 OffLot expert score
The 2026 Toyota Crown is a reasonable choice if the price is right. Comfortable front seats on long trips; efficient in mixed driving. Base engine feels adequate, not quick and road noise on coarse pavement, so test the trim you'd actually buy. Starting around $42,000, it lines up with most direct rivals.

Twelve thousand miles in. Nothing has gone wrong, dealer service has been easy, and the fuel economy still impresses passengers.
Bought it for the a long commute and it has handled everything so far. Fuel economy has been close to the sticker in mixed driving.
