The cargo room is the standout. My only gripe is the touchscreen climate controls, which I knew going in.
EXPERT REVIEW · THREE-ROW SUV
2026 Volvo XC90 review
Volvo XC90: the family hauler that doesn't feel like one. Illustrative review
8.5/10 OffLot expert score
The 2026 Volvo XC90 sits near the top of its class. Standard driver-assist suite; easy to see out of and park. Third row (where offered) is for kids and engine gets loud under hard acceleration, so test the trim you'd actually buy. Starting around $60,000, it lines up with most direct rivals.

Bought it for the school runs and road trips and it has handled everything so far. Fuel economy has been close to the sticker in mixed driving.
Replaced an older Volvo with this one. Big step up in cargo room; I'd like a little more power from the base engine.
