CAR-BUYING QUESTIONS
Private sellers often charge less and you can talk directly with the person who drove the car, but sales are usually as is with fewer protections and you handle the paperwork. Dealers handle title, registration and financing, must post an FTC Buyers Guide, and may offer warranties or CPO cars, but prices and fees can be higher. Either way, get a history report and an independent inspection.
