CAR-BUYING QUESTIONS

How can I stay safe when someone test drives my car for sale?

Meet in a public, well-lit place, ideally a police station's safe-exchange zone or a busy parking lot, and bring a friend. Take a photo of the buyer's driver's license before the drive and ride along rather than handing over the keys. Keep the title and spare keys at home until payment is complete. Trust your instincts: if a buyer pressures you, won't show ID or makes odd payment requests, it's fine to end the meeting.
