CAR-BUYING QUESTIONS
Does a lease already include GAP coverage?
Many leases do include GAP protection or a GAP waiver as part of the contract, especially leases from automaker finance companies. Not all do, though, so look for GAP or gap waiver language in the lease agreement or ask the leasing company directly before paying for a separate GAP product. If it is already included, buying it again would duplicate coverage. On OffLot, lease estimates on new vehicle pages are illustrative, so confirm actual lease terms with the leasing company.
