CAR-BUYING QUESTIONS
What is a 'we owe' form at a dealership?
A 'we owe' or due bill is a written list of anything the dealer has promised to provide after the sale, such as a second key, floor mats, a repaired scratch, or a recall fix. Verbal promises are hard to enforce, so make sure every commitment is written down and signed by a dealer representative before you sign the contract. Keep a copy and follow up promptly if items aren't delivered.
