CAR-BUYING QUESTIONS

Is front-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive better?

Front-wheel drive is the most common choice for everyday driving because it is efficient, spacious and handles light snow reasonably well. Rear-wheel drive often gives better balance and handling and is common on performance cars, trucks and luxury models, but it can be trickier in snow without proper tires. For most commuters, FWD or AWD is the practical pick. On OffLot, you can filter by drivetrain to compare options.
