CAR-BUYING QUESTIONS
What is tire and wheel protection?
Tire and wheel protection is an optional product that pays to repair or replace tires and wheels damaged by road hazards such as potholes, nails or debris. Coverage usually excludes normal wear, cosmetic scuffs, racing and sometimes curb damage, and may limit the number of claims. It may appeal to drivers with low-profile tires or rough local roads. Compare the price to what replacing a tire or wheel on that vehicle actually costs, and read the exclusions before buying.
