CAR-BUYING QUESTIONS

Is it bad to buy the first model year of a redesigned car?

Not necessarily, but first-year models sometimes have more early bugs, recalls or software issues that get fixed in later years. If reliability is your top priority, waiting a year or buying a later model year of the same generation can reduce that risk. If you want the newest features, research early owner reports and check NHTSA for recalls and complaints before buying.
