CAR-BUYING QUESTIONS

How can I check the battery health on a used EV?

Ask the seller for a battery health or state-of-health report, which some automakers and dealers can generate, and compare the car's displayed full-charge range estimate to its original EPA rating, keeping in mind estimates vary with recent driving. Some independent shops and third-party services offer battery tests. Also confirm remaining battery warranty by VIN with a franchised dealer, and check charging and service records. Use OffLot's Open lot mode checklist for the rest of the inspection and test drive.
