CAR-BUYING QUESTIONS

Do EVs lose value faster than gas cars?

Some EVs have depreciated faster than comparable gas vehicles, partly because of rapid technology changes, price cuts on new models and changes in incentives, but resale value varies a lot by brand, model and market conditions. Battery health and range strongly affect a used EV's value. If resale matters to you, research the specific model's history. Faster depreciation can also mean lower prices for used EV buyers, which is worth weighing against battery age and warranty.
