CAR-BUYING QUESTIONS

Should I buy a car with a rebuilt title?

Approach with caution. A rebuilt title means the car was once declared a total loss, then repaired and passed a state inspection. Some are fine, but repair quality varies, financing and insurance can be harder to get, and resale value is usually much lower. If you consider one, pay well below clean-title prices, get repair records and photos, and have an independent mechanic and ideally a body shop inspect it.
